What you eat is what you get.
Remember when you were younger and your parents would tell you to eat you fruits and veggies? And maybe the only reason you did was so that you could actually be a superhero?
Historically the largest percentage of our diet was plant based, however, with faster living came fast foods and subsequently a nutrient poor diet.
Plant nutrients are essential to good health and you should be eating a wide variety and a rainbow-colored array of fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, most people don’t reach the recommended goal of 9-13 daily servings and so we miss out on some important health benefits.
If you aren’t consistently getting the full servings daily you may want to consider vitamins, minerals and supplements. However you want to choose ones that are plant based and full of phytonutrients which act as antioxidants which protect your cells.
