I’m not sure which temptation is worse…Easter Candy or Halloween Sugar Overload. Have you ever realized how much sugar has crept into daily temptations…pastries, coffee flavored sugar, sodas and desserts? Try to make a conscious decision to cut down on sugar intake, especially for your children. Some simple ways:
1) Drink more water
2) Take the temptations out of your pantry
3) Substitute natural foods like fruits and sweet vegetables
4) Eat regularly
5) Take a walk when a craving hits
6) Choose quality over quantity
7) Read your food labels
8) Reward yourself once a week
